August 26th, 2007 – It took me long enough, but thanks to the support of performer Charlie Varon and impresario Jeannine Frank, I will be bringing the fabulous Wheel to L.A.! There’s one performance only, on Sunday, August 26, at 7:30pm. The location is Steinway Hall – 12121 W. Pico Blvd. (just West of Bundy, under Fields Piano Store, level P2). I’ve been told there is free parking. Tickets are $25, or $20 with advance reservations. (No credit cards at the door – cash/checks only.) Seating is limited, so please RSVP to Jeannine@FrankEntertainment.com or call (310) 471-3979. Please come and bring your friends to this first-ever SoCal performance!

“Strange Travel” in Los Angeles!
Book Passage Travel Writers Conference
August 16th-19th, 2007 - The 16th annual Book Passage Travel Writers and Photographers Conference will feature such lit and image luminaries as Matthew Polly, Isabel Allende, Broughton Coburn, Amanda Jones, Donald "the Don" George, and a host of significant others. I’ll be teaching as well, and performing "Strange Travel Suggestions" in an off-off-off-off Broadway kind of way. This event has become a staple of the Summer, eagerly awaited by wanderers of every stripe. The conference is four days long, and it’s not cheap, but it is THE premier opportunity for travel writers, photographers, agents and editors to shmooze, share stories, and sing karaoke at the West Coast’s most writer-friendly bookstore. Look for more information on the Book Passage website.
